Process of mold making

Cast and blown glass, driftwood, metal I am exploring the intricate and often overlooked absurdities that nature creates as it evolves and transforms. Mycelium, a vital component in the life cycle of all living things, breaks down organic material, creating a continuous cycle of birth and decay. Glass, like mycelium, is an integral part of our daily lives, and we encounter it everywhere, from our phones to our cars yet often neglect its significance. The branch represents the networks of mycelium that lie underneath us, working together in a unified form. I've realized that glass now plays as fundamental a role in my life as mycelium does in nature.
