Beneath the Fire

On July 15, 2024, fire set to my mother’s beloved hometown community. I salvaged wood, glass, and other found objects to pay homage to the life and energy that once was present, while these remnants are all that is left behind. I intended for the glass to represent life no longer visible around us, but that continues on within these sculptures.
